Ronald Steuer, retired, Fellow since 2017, Research and Technology Engineering
Biography
Ronald started his professional life in 1980 after finishing industrial electronic studies at the Technical University of Vienna. His expertise comprises DMM design, safety testing, and power quality. He was the engineering and technology manager at LEM Norma, which was acquired by Fluke in 2005.
Ronald worked at Fluke for 17 years until his retirement in June 2022. He was recognized as a Fellow in 2017 as an expert in non-contact voltage measurements and continues to consult for the company. Ronald achieved many exceptional results in safety testing and power quality measurements throughout his career.
Published Works
Ronald had five patents before the Fluke acquisition and added 11 with Fluke. He also gives presentations at international conferences such as CICED - Power Quality and IEEE meetings.

Accomplishments
He’s most proud of the tenacity to strive for the precise, intrinsically safe, non-contact voltage measurement methods used in several Fluke instruments, generating more than 115M by the end of 2023.
